U.S. ARTILLERY S.A. 45 CAL.,
5 1/2 in. barrel, as usual on this variation numbers do not match,
inspectors marks are as follows: frame “HN” barrel “H.N. &
P”, cylinder “P” & “DFC”, trigger guard “J”, back
strap “G”, finish is mostly a brown patina with small area or two of
pin pricking, grips shrunk some, markings are clear & sharp on frame
& barrel, mfg. 1879, bore about good, NRA antique very good, ANTIQUE.

COLT 1860
ARMY, 44 CAP & BALL REVOLVER, manufactured in 1863, 8 in.
barrel, one piece walnut grips with light inspectors initials, appears
to be H.S.L., GG inspector marks on barrel and cylinder, also includes
an H. back strap, trigger guard has letter C, back strap has letter D,
cylinder engraving approximately 50% of the factory scene on cylinder,
bore has riflings with some darkness, metal is brownish-grey, markings
clear, matching serial numbers, N.R.A. Antique Good, ANTIQUE.
